Both (all 3!) Democratic Candidates Are in Montana This Week. Montana Could Be Key State.

Former President Bill Clinton toured Havre Great Falls, Helena, and Butte earlier this week, and on Saturday night, April 8, he'll be in Butte, Montana at the Democrats' annual Mansfield-Metcalf celebration. On that same stage that same night, Senator, Barack Obama will be on at 6:40 p.m. and Senator Hillary Clinton will be on at 9 p.m., ending the program. Barack is holding a public rally at the University of Montana, in Missoula at 10 a.m. Saturday morning, and Hillary's showcasing a fundraiser Sunday in Missoula.

Montana's primary election is on June 3, and is the last chance for these two Democrats to add delegates prior to the Democratic Convention in Denver, CO, August 25-28, 2008. Seldom would Montana's few delegates make a difference in a presidential campaign, but this time around Montana's 24 convention delegates could very well make a substantial difference.
